Installing longtubes tomorrow need help!
I bought stage 8 header and collector bolts, o2 sims and extensions, gm gaskets, pace air restrictor mod, penetrating fluid, anti-seize. The headers are for 98-99 so i also got the 99 style smog tubes and an egr block off plate.
BTW they are grotyohann longtubes. I'm new to doing this so any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if any of this info will be of any help but you could check this out, https://ls1tech.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...;f=24;t=003139 , Good luck with the install and just take your time and follow the header install directions.

I took off starter, oil filter, coil packs, plugs, wires.
Taking the stock stuff off was
somewhat of a struggle but air tools make it fun. I used a 10" extension to get the
bolts loose from the stock cats......
Setup for the car.. Chock the rear wheels. Safety. Get the front tires at least 15 inches in the
air. I used this for a standard: Transmission oil drain 16.5 inches from floor
Floorboard 22 3/4 inch from the floor This is about a 4 inch lowering of the transmission.
That is for SLP lt's now for you get the floorboard about 23" from ground and you will have it. If you have a M6 above the drain plug
is where I took that measurement.. be carefull,
car that high can be unstable and your under it.

Get it PRETTY high up
Remove oil filter
Remove bolt in oil pan (ie oil change)
Uhhh...that's all that needs to be removed!
You have to finesse the Driver's side one a little to get it to fit in there right but with the right angle it fits right in.
You'll LOVE the performance.
