Gotta Beat a Z06 I recently purchased a 2000 Corvette and allready I want to be faster than a Z06. Can this be done with bolt-ons and if so what are some of the better combinations out there? Also if you would what do I need to spend to the nearest $1,000?
Re: Gotta Beat a Z06 I Only got to race one z06 and on Bolt ons before cam gears and ls6 intake I could stay ahead of my buddy till 120 and than he would go by me.

Re: Gotta Beat a Z06 I think you could come close if the zo6 is stock with some good headers longtubes of course..and other bolt ons..induction system.underdrive pulleys,maybe a zo6 style maf like pace and ported tb..cam would be a good thing and heads if you have the money..nos is the quickest way to waste him or supercharger of course..and if you are auto guess a stall converter ..not sure if they make them for vette trannies
Re: Gotta Beat a Z06 my 2001 ws.6 took out a 2002 zo6 last week and the feeling was great.well i do have heads/cam,ect but so what. the 2002 zo6 runs strong he held with my 11.80's ta for 1/2 of first gear.i say use NOS and you will spend the least money to kill him. next lets kill the 2003 cobra. goodluck to ya man.
Re: Gotta Beat a Z06 I've somked a zo6 <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" /> > & have been looking for a Viper, with no luck. I'm charged, headered, geared, MAFed, programed, and a couple of other things that are bad news for a zo6. Its a good feeling blowing the doors out of a confident ZO6 owner!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Gotta Beat a Z06 Most of the Z06 drivers are not drag racers.. So this task should be easy.. Go with all the bolt ons including headers and you should be able to beat the Z06 in the 1/4th.. Add a cam along with that and you will beat the Z06 all the way to top speed.
