Default best performing headers/ypipe for the money?

what seems to be the best performing headers/ypipe for the moneyl I want something to just bolt on without welding/cutting etc. Not looking for the cheapest nor the most expensive, just something that is a proven power maker, best bang for the buck basically. For a 2000 formula, AT.
thanks

Most headers will make the same hp/tq #'s give or take. If you have the money go with a stainless header (kook's or qtp's) If your on more of a budget get your self a set a of coated pacesetters.

Gee, how many threads have you got on the same subject, lol. How about deleting the ones no longer relavent

As for your question, well it depends how much money you want to spend?

Coated Pacesetters and TSP ORY/Catted Y are pretty cheap and perform well, the new Edlebrocks look very nice but are tad more money and aren't available with cats.

QTP, Kooks, Stainlees Works are all stainless steel so will last much better. They are also arguably made better and may see slightly better results than other brands.

pacesetter coated headers they fit absolutly perfect, BUT DO NOT buy the pacesetter Y pipe, they are horribly made inside and restricct the passenger side rediculously. get the TSP Y
