Pic of my PCV catch can
As promised a while back...it's a Moroso Radiator overflow can. Added an extra fitting on the side and ran some black auto store hoses and a 90-degree PCV right before the intake.

Re: Pic of my PCV catch can
OK, call me stupid, but i actually dont really know what the pcv does and why did you make a catch can for it?? and is that a MAFT by your lid?

The reason for this mod is to eliminate or decrease oil consumption by the LS1 engine. They are notorious for this. By employing a catch can in-line, the oil get deposited in the can, rather than sucked into the intake.
99Z28RS...not a MAFT, although it looks like one, that's the 2-step made by Matt Harlan. The leads go to the coil pack harnesses.

Re: Pic of my PCV catch can
Thanks, Todd! How is that fitting attached? Is it threaded into the plastic, or made as part of the tank? Is there a metal insert with threads there? Sorry for all the ????'s but I really like that set-up you have.

Re: Pic of my PCV catch can
The fitting supplied with the can screws in (I think it is threaded). There is also a small breather hole in the top which I plugged with a small screw and some rtv. For the fitting on the side, I just drilled the appropriate sized hole and screwed the fitting in. Used some black rtv around the base of both fittings, then painted everything flat black.
Bought a 90-degree PCV valve from Autozone and put it inline. Had to use a couple different hose sizes to piece everything together.
The hose from the driver's valve cover crosses over to the passenger side. I used a 3/8" tee to join the hoses at the passenger cover, and then feed down to the can. I used a small K&N breather to provide fresh air on the front fitting of the passenger side cover. I plugged the fresh air outlet on the throttle body.
Guess I should have explained all that up front <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="gr_emb.gif" />

One more thing, the clamp holding the can is from Home Depot. Came on a 3-inch pvc coupling in the plumbng section. I used an aluminum pop-rivet to secure it to the strut tower, then slid the can in and tightened it down.
