My understanding is that if you have the money and patience get QTPs, if not get pacesetters. Hopefully these will allow us broke guys to run stainless.

I'd imagine several other factors other than the QTPs would cause the car to run unusually high on the dyno... like barometric pressure, elevation, temp, humidity, price of eggs in China, etc. There have been several folks say to steer clea of SLPs, due to $#!tty ground clearance, and a few who have said they actually lost power over another brand of LT.
These don't have the stupid wacky crazy bends in them like the SLPs do... pretty much smooth-flowing, if you ask me. One question... how does stainless compare with ceramic-coated as far as underhood temps go?

I couldnt find the thread, but i could swear one guy trapped 112 with qtps and only a few other bolt ons. This made his 360 dyno look more believable.
I was wondering about the coating too. I guess you could send these out to jet hot.

Sorry guys but i do not know why you are interested in this cheap ebay knock off header. Do you think for one second there will be after product support. What if they rub, crack, leak or just dont fit? Sorry but i am glad i have name brand that supports the ls1 world. Just my opinion.

notice my post a few up. if i had the money i would get the qtps. Not all of us are rolling in money. I may just get pacesetters, but sometimes it is worth looking into other options. This is how pacesetters were discovered in the first place and look how popular they are now.

If the 1st set of headers doesn't work, you can buy 2 more sets before you spend as much as 1 of the QTP's...

If no one sparks curiosity then we will never know. I am glad someone purchased them and will report the results to us when he finds out. These are just another alternative, and there is nothing wrong with that.
I myself have been saving for the QTP's, but it never hurts to look.
