CJ 01 WS6

I've been running the asp crank pulley and I love it. Nice gains.
Do you think it is worth it to throw on the alt. pulley. Will it gain me much.
After my cam install, during programming, I had my idle bumped up to help smooth out the idle, so I might not have a charging issue.
Anyone running it??

It won't be worth your time. I pulled off my alt pulley a while back since I have a pretty big stereo and couldn't afford to loss of voltage. Made ZERO difference at the track or dyno....

Excuse me, but I was under impression, that ASP alternator pulley will INCREASE alternator speed, if anything, resulting in possible LOSS of power?

They make underdrive alternators and overdrive alternator pulleys..different belts required for each combo.I don't drive car much and have a big stereo so threw the overdrive alt pulley on there.doubt I lost much hp..

You are right. I sure wouldn't put underdrive alternator pulley on a street car, but now I understand.

Where is the crank pully getting it's power from? Are there any dangers associated?

i have a m6 with the asp pulley and before i was in the 11's, i went from 12.83 to 12.68 with the crank pulley only,i was suprised but everyones car will be different.
