Installed my hypertech 160 T-Stat tonight, and..... My water temp gauge still reads at the same spot what the hell is going on here? Is the factory gauge really that bad? Would you recommend me to go with an Autometer gauge instead? Thunder Racing is going to tune my computer for this T-Stat when i go up there soon. So right now the fans turn on at 180.
Re: Installed my hypertech 160 T-Stat tonight, and..... time after time, it's been said that the stock temp guage is nothing more than an idiot light. 99+ reads 210 for everything from 160-230.

Re: Installed my hypertech 160 T-Stat tonight, and..... It is sad but true. I had the same problem upon installing 160 tstat. I shot my radiator with an infared gun and actual temp averaged 180.
