Hang tips from the rear bumper to give the appearance of a rear exiting exhaust ( Tim98TA style )

no offense jsears but if ur gonna have tips hanging on the back of the car u might as well have them hook up some flanges so u can take them on and off whenever u want. if u just had tips hanging around in the back it would be a waste of money and really too.

hehe, I guess I sort of worded that wrong..I went and got both the pipes to exit the right hand side with some nice chrome tips..got rid of the noise and rumbling from inside the car.

Default gay cop with exhaust problems

ok I have a 3" X pipe with 2 12 inch bullets and turndowns before the axle..and when I got it put on the exhaust people didnt say anything about how the exhaust has to stick out either the sides behind the farthest window or strait out the back, So I get pulled over and get a warning saying that its either gotta come out the sides or out the back. Is there an easy way to make it go out the back or out the sides..and I asked the shop if they could instead of welding it on there to clamp it so when I go to get it inspected its out the back..but when I get home I unclamp it because I like the turndowns before the axle.

also I had another question, When I get the side exhaust put on when I turn the wheel and gently press on the accelerator..I hear a ticking noise from underneath the car. What do you think this could be?
