I don't know where you get your info but you need to find another source. It sounds nothing like a dump truck and the rasp is gone.

Default Any HP loss with Bullet Muffler?

I'm looking at getting a bullet muffler for the SS after the Hooker LT and off road y pipe. It has a little rasp with the B&B but doesn't sound bad. I opened the cutout yesterday and it sounded horrible through the rasp. Although after about 3,000 rpm.....OH MY GOD! Just wanted to see if the bullet muffler offers any restriction or just offers sound dampning. Thanks.

I just put one on my car yesterday, and it sounds great! I've gotten nothing but compliments and a bunch of people wanting to run! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Is one bullet muffler enough or should you do two where the cats use to be? If one works I'd rather go that way. Getting sick of the rasp!

one in the I pipe works fine but two in the Y pipes works and sounds even better.
