Hooker LT install ??

Hooker LT install ?? Installing set of Hooker lt's and y-pipe and have a couple of questions. The rear header tube on the passenger side is very close to the heater box maybe 1/8 inch clearance. Also on the drivers side the header collector seems to be angled up toward the floor and the little short y-pipe extention is very close to the floor. Looks as if the header needs to be pulled down to get more clearance so it won't bang. Anyone else have these problems.
Re: Hooker LT install ?? On the heater box mines has about 1/2 in, but a friend of mine only had about an 1/8th. I put some heat reflective tape on it just to be safe. My Driver side header is angled up, but the y pipe fits great. I had to pull the header down with a small pry bar to get the short piece of y pipe on, but it fits great after it is on. I have no banging, but I didn't have to adjust the pipes some. Good luck.
