Nothing really... They are used to test the efficency of the cat...


I had nothing connected for a few weeks... Just ducked taped my connectors so no dirt got in them...


All you get is a CEL... No biggie...


rear O2's = useless.
front O2's = important.

I would recomend getting 02 sims, they dont cost that much, less than $100, I don't remember exactly. I have a catted Y but after 3k miles I started to throw a code because the high flow cats just stopped working....

don't waste money on O2 sims.... Just get them tuned out...

Bout a month, Buddy of mine did it for about 2 I think. It's LOUD but once you get used to it, it's not that bad.

Thanks for the help with the o2 quest wakerider017, I'll prob just leave the rears disconnected till I can get a tune.

ive heard you can burn a valve with no backpressure from the exhaust. is that true?

Drove with opens for about 3 months. Dont ask why so long. It was loud simply put!!! but who cares? It makes the car sound like it is faster than it really is. LOL. You will get sick of it after a while though but have fun for a while.
