Sorry if its been asked before. A search didn't answer my question...
Has anyone seen any gains on the dyno/track just by swapping the stock WS6/SS exhaust (single/single)?
Most aftermarket catbacks seems pretty similar. Is the single/single exhaust worth upgrading for power (not sound)?

Well, I had planned on doing that, but I'm really looking for the quietest exhaust out, without sacrificng too much power, and not looking too bad <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> .
Anyone have any hard evidence that the single/single exhaust on the WS6/SS cars is comparable to an aftermarket exhaust?

If you want a quiet exhaust, keep the ws6 exhaust but put a free flowing muffler on. Magnaflow has this straight through muffler that won't be lound because of they way they have engineered it.

the extra 15hp on the WS6 is from the exhaust. Popular Hot Rodding or GMHTP did a B&B TriFlow install on a WS6 & got 1hp.

Most of the aftermarket ones will flow better than the stock cat-backs.
Just slap a cut-out in. Just my $.02
Peace,
Craig.
