Bang for the buck and deep muscle car sound:
Dynomouth!
Mine was $140 including professional installation and it has dynoed as much or more than other F-bodies with expensive cat-backs. (Same mods of course... lid and exhaust.)
Pics of typical Dynomouth
Instructional Diagram
Print and take the diagram to your exhaust man if you decide to do this mod. They tend to give you a blank stare if you try to describe with words...
Sound clip in sig...

Who makes the best cat back system?
Depends on your preference.
Deep/Mellow:Flowmaster, Hooker, Dynomax, Magnaflow
Clean/Crisp:Corsa,Spintech,Random Tech, B&B Triflo
Loud/Raspy:Borla, SLP Loudmouth, Stock w/cutout
Quiet: Bassani,Edelbrock,Whisper,SLP Dual/Dual
Best bang for the buck would probably be the SLP Loudmouth. Good horsepower increase, and you can pick on up for about 300 bucks.

Corsa may not be the best bang for the buck but it is the best bang. You can't beat the looks and sound of the Corsa and performance of Corsa, Borla and B&B Triflow are all on par.

No offense to you Brandon, but damn, I am so tired of the same question! Just go to the search option and look up,"best exhaust." You will get more than you can read in a day! If you want my opinion, "again" I like Borla, call be biased!

get the ######....AWESOME cat-back, and cheap to boot. I've got the ###### catback and put on my ###### LT's and ORY last week and DAMN my car sounds good!!! The ###### isn't very loud at idle but wakes up nicely around 2500rpm's

I had a version of the dynomouth WAAAAY before anyone even thought of it(single setup)It was a good system and flowed very well, but I do like your duel, too bad u didnt use mandrel pipe..
I liked the lightness of the Dynomouth too,But after a 1.5yrs of having it I've decided to go to a DYNOMAX 17536 duel out muffler and (2) 3in madrel tail pipes w/SS 3.5in slash cut tips.
Sure its heavier than my single Dynomouth but it looks sooo much better. This muffler flows 2000+ CFM so I dont think I'm gonna lose much other than adding alittle weight.
I'm making the system tommorrow,Should have some picks soon,Its all 3in madrel w/a cutout in the interm for when I race the car....

RockLS1, dude your post is what I think everyone who has ever made the exhaust post wanted to hear! The only thing I would like to know is if the clean crisp catagory is louder than the deep mellow?
