wrapped headers?
Thanks

How much moisture do you think the wrap will hold in when your pipes get to 400' every time you start the car?

As far as the coated soft iron headers such as Hooker, FLP, Grotts, or Macs .... not sure.
Header wrap seems to work ok in trailered race cars, but on headers that see continual heat cycles (ie: daily driver), I wouldn't use it.
Just my 2 cents....

I just bought some used MACs, the previous owner had used header wrap for OVER a year on a daily driven car. When the wrap was removed there was NO surface rust or corrosion on the tubes (except up near/on the flange where the wrap didn't cover) If I didn't know of a cheap and local source for coating I would've wrapped them again (approx. $40). No way in hell i'd pay $250 for a ceramic coating; that's the quote I got from JetHot.
I paid $150 locally, coated in/out and warranty. Plus, the owner is a hell of a nice guy. Support small business's!!!!
