corsa vs. bassani
Ok, I've read about the endless exhaust systems and everyones "IMHO". I would like to know if anyone has any info on flow comparisons between the Corsa and Bassani. I am looking for a quality, high flowing catback and thus far have narrowed it down to the aforementioned. i understand Bassani is quiter which i like, but does it flow (support as much power) as the Corsa? What is this GMMP or GMMT some guys talk about? tm.

I've got corsa, it flows very well. I dont know much about bassani tho so i can't compare the two. The GMMG exhaust is a chambered exhaust alot of poeple like the way it sounds, i'm not sure if it flows as well as the corsa tho.
here's a ttt for ya.
anyone running bassani? i have been told they are quiet?
I've got a corsa system waiting for installation. I got that because eventually I plan on getting headers and I don't want to be too loud. Supposedly the corsa system has an exotic car sound, I like that! Oh yeah 2 more reasons I got the corsa systm 1)No other tips are even close to being as nice looking and 2) GM approved. Though reason 2 isn't that important, its nice to know
I've heard Corsa and don't like the tone. Not real deep and too exotic sounding. But it does look really nice. Flows good too.
I have the GMMG and haven't heard a better sounding exhaust on an LS1 yet. Very deep/muscular sounding but it is LOUD(even on a stock car). And it flows very well(don't let others tell you otherwise).
Here are some nice soundclips from another member's(Cobraeater) website:

That is what made up my mind to buy this exhaust. Also, just try and hear some different systems in person if possible before you make a decision.

Honestly, there is no sweeter sound than a GMMG, but it is pretty loud, even though I am getting used to it. It doesn't drone or anything on the highway, which you can't say about a lot of the other exhausts.

How much louder is gmmg than flowmaster? I was planning on getting random tech just because it was like $350 but after yall posts I like the gmmg again and I have read someother posts that said random tech wasnt much luder than stock hardly! Any comment?

It is quite a bit louder than the Flowmaster. And it sounds WAY better too. I also followed up on your original post man.

If you go with headers and off road y, I think you will get droning with any of the catbacks, but that of course is a very subjective opinion. Supposedly cats cut down on the drone quite a bit.
Why don't you just buy the corsa system, mac mid lengths and a Quick Time Electric Cutout (QTEC) then you could keep it closed most of the time and enjoy the sweet music from the corsa system, and when you need all hell to break loose, just flip the switch and open the cutout!!!
Nice idea for the electric cutouts 2002 T/A, but the only time i need RFL is at the track, so I may opt to save the $$ and get manual but see no need for the LAZ-E-BOY method. good reminder, sounds like MAC's, ORY and Corsa (so far) w/ a lil cutout help. tm.
