msd 8.5 boot is touching pacesetter LT

msd 8.5 boot is touching pacesetter LT

i got new plugs....the MSD 8.5 Red wires....very nice by the way..
however my front wire on driver side is touching the pipe on the header....the boot of the wire, where it says MSD...
what should i do...go out and spend $13 on a pair of friggin protectant wire boots???

i dont know what to tell you man, i was about to ask why your dyno was so low but then i saw intake only. how do you like that volant

Wouldn't worry too much my stock wire boot has been on the primary of #5 for 4 months now, and so far no melting

actually i think once i plug it into the coil pack, itll lift it off the pipe!!! YAY
yeah man those dyno runs were intake ONLY....my #'s with exhaust and all with be out this summer, after the heads and cam go in as well!
i like the volant...looks cool, catches eyes, and i got a few ponies out of it..so...in all two thumbs up!
