Default MAF Sensor direction!!!

I just installed a SLP MAF sensor, smooth bellows, and airbox lid. Does it matter which way I put the MAF sensor. I didn't realize until I was done that the part that say's SLP is at the top and not on the side.

Don't feel bad man I did the same thing. The part that says SLP should be on your right the same way the stock MAF unit is.

You also want to make sure that the notch on the MAF and the notch on the bellows and hose clamp are lined up.

Does it really matter, should i try and put it so it sits on the right side(drivers side)?

Putting the MAF backwards makes it run richer.Maybe some cars like it especially if MAF mod went wrong!
