alot of headaches

Do your self a favor and have those collectors welded up before putting them on the car.

Honestly I don't know for sure if they are stainless or not I thought they were, but they are ceramic coated. I know the Supermaxx headers are stainless but these are the drag race headers. It was a pretty good price though for LT's and ceramic coat. they only downside so far is I have to purchase the collectors seperately, and they are a lil on the pricey side. O well. Im still happy. and i will prob go ahead and weld the collectors on since i've heard a few stories about them coming undone and leaking when just bolted.

theyre definitely not stainless for that price. they are probably aluminized steel just like the rest of the coated ones out there with cermamic coating. the dynatech stainless headers are like a grand.

Hmmmm....why would you buy headers without collectors? How much are the collectors going to be?

Collectors arent that much, and it means you can tune your primary length to adjust your powerband just a bit.

Collectors arent very much if you just get the black painted standard ones, but if you want merged coated ones they're pretty expensive at least from dynatech, about $300. But im going to stick with the cheaper ones because for street applications fancy coated and merged ones arent goin to make a diff.
