Default Ngk Tr55 ???

The guy at Advanced Auto parts said there are 2 different TR55 plugs for our cars.

The under $2.00 TR55 kind and the over $6.00 iridium tip TR55 plugs, which ones are people using?

The TR6's are a colder plug and are usually being used by N2O guys. If you're not sprayin than stick w/ the TR55's.

Gap tr-55's (v-power) at .050 - .055" for N/A use.

Gap tr-6's at .035 - .038 for nitrous.

Gap mine at .055, and don't forget a little anti-seize.

They should have them, sometimes you have to ask for the NGK stock number. I got my last set along with new wires from thunder racing.

Check with NAPA autoparts. If they do not have them in stock they can order them and you should receive them within a day or two.

I order mine at Napa or Advance, you can also get the TR5's, and gap them to the 55's specs, they are the same heat range of plug, just a diff gap
