Replacing Flowmaster
I have put dynomax systems on some different applications and haven't been impressed, is it any different for the Camaro? How does the dynomax sound/look?

What hasn't impressed you about them? They are certainly not as loud as the RustMasters, but you'll be hardpressed to find a better flowing muffler than a Dynomax in general. If you're basically looking for a stock replacement crossflow then I'd look at p/n 17227 Dynomax UltraFlo Welded. I'm thinking that's the right part number, but I'm not sure what size your I-pipe is.
Take a look here: http://www.dynomax.com/documents/ultrafloweld_specs.pdf
If I remember correctly Jeg's carries them for a good price.

Yeah I would like to have someone do sounds comparison on the flowmaster and slp loudmouth 1 to 10 with stock as 1 and flowmaster being prolly 4 or 5.

Yeah, so SLP guys, where are you on this one? I know that there are a bunch of you out there with the loudmouth set-up. And srh00z, i listened to your clip of the magnaflows, and they sound good, but seem a bit too quiet for my taste. Like i said, i like the way my flowmasters sound, just not the way that they flow
$40 muffler and around $100 for professional install. Great sound and flow to match.
I have sound clips, pic links, and mod tips on page 2 of my website.
Good luck
Dave
I really don't wanna get any quiter then my flowmasters. Exactly how much louder is the SLP loudmouth compared to the american thunder set-up that i have now?

Originally you had asked for a replacement muffler not a catback. I think you need to think about exactky what it is you're after. Do you want a certain sound? Do you just want loud as hell? Or do you want max flow? I like the Flowmaster sound - I've had both 40 and 50-series versions over the years. Their flow numbers are generally poor though. The Dynomax doesn't sound as good (IMO) as the Flowmaster, but has great flow numbers. A deeper, more mellow sound is how I'd classify it. The Loudmouth will be louder than a Flowmaster setup for sure. How much louder, I can't say. You'd need to get two equivalent cars, one of each exhaust, and a decibel meter together to quantify it.
If you want a combo of loud and high flow then the LM is a great option. I think Tbyrne was selling them for $299 recently. That's hard to beat...

I want better flow and a sound similar to my flowmasters, perhaps a bit louder, but not any quieter. I want to be heard from down the street, but want to be able to hear my passengers speak (most of the time at least) If i have to shell out money for a catback then so be it. Wouldn't really wanna spend over 500 bucks. This is more of a springtime plan, just want the info now. I'm hearing that Hooker makes a decent system.
