For the price you can have a Lid.. Carbon Fiber one at that. It would look better and based on what we've seen with the FIPK, the lid will out perform it.

Re: CYCLONE AIR INTAKE for LS1??? its actually a mandrel bent 30 degree 3.5" steel tube thats been high temp powder coated inside and out . the couplers measure 3.65" so i would say they should fit the larger maf and larger throttle bodies . the filter is a 3.5 outlet and flows as much and more than any lid/filter/ram air setup on the market. we didn't build the kit for looks as much as function. this kit will make hp gains over a lid with the hood up/down/off or whatever. we don't need a leaf blower or a large fan to make power. if anyone is interested in seeing dyno results please email me . thanks - mike @ poorboys performance

Mandrel bend----$30
silocone/rubber couplings-----$60 pr/$30 pr
K&N filter----------$50
Powder coating------$15 to 20
(not needed, paint will do fine)
so for $150 on the high end, you can build your own, budget boys could build one for closer to $100.
