Actually, I emailed the guy and he said that they just completed this product. I'm having him send me scans of the dyno results. I'll keep you posted.

I highly doubt the performance claims unless they are talking about gains over the STOCK lid <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Even if those hp# claims are correct, that doesn't look like it is worth $190 to me. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />
If I was in the market for that kind of intake system, I might pay $135 for it. And is that intake tube aluminum?? How will that work for folks with an 85mm MAF??

its actually a mandrel bent 30 degree 3.5" steel tube thats been high temp powder coated inside and out . the couplers measure 3.65" so i would say they should fit the larger maf and larger throttle bodies . the filter is a 3.5 outlet and flows as much and more than any lid/filter/ram air setup on the market. we didn't build the kit for looks as much as function. this kit will make hp gains over a lid with the hood up/down/off or whatever. we don't need a leaf blower or a large fan to make power. if anyone is interested in seeing dyno results please email me . thanks - mike @ poorboys performance

Ok, not to bash anyone, but this kit could be made at home for pretty cheap:
Mandrel bend----$30
silocone/rubber couplings-----$60 pr/$30 pr
K&N filter----------$50
Powder coating------$15 to 20
(not needed, paint will do fine)
so for $150 on the high end, you can build your own, budget boys could build one for closer to $100.
