Upgrade to aftermarket headers or keep it stock???
I would not worry about the stock value of the car. These cars de-value extremely quickly. I saw a 99 z-28 LS1 for $9,500 today in the newspaper (41K miles). I also know a dealer that is giving HUGE discounts on the last 2003 LS-1 pontiac WS6 cars... these cars have been sitting in the lots for months...no takers...
..apparently they can't give the cars away...
...so I say the general public does not recognize how fun these cars are...therfore, go ahead a put headers on the car....it won't be worth much soon anyway ...so who cares ,..the cars have no resale value PERIOD.....
You are not riding around in an F-Body to get rich on resale value...you are doing it to kick some Mustang ***...

Yeah the resale value around here for F-bods is pretty damn good, and there are absolutely zero 2002 LS1s left on anybody's lot.

Maybe where you're from. There are plenty of 'em left in the southeast. I just bought one about a month ago. The selection was so great I was able to find a couple optioned EXACTLY like I wanted.
There are no '03 F-bodies.
The manifolds are good to 400+rwhp

The manifolds are probly good up to 400+rwhp, but the manifolds wont make max Hp and torque, just as the stock tb is probably good for the same amount of power, but doesn't produce max power. My view is, if your modding your car for performance, you dont want good. You want the best parts that produce the best power. just my .02
