Default What Next???

What should I do next?I cant make up my mind here the choices.
1.Fast 90/90 30hp?
2.QTP Headers and ORY 40hp?
3.Crane rockers 20hp?
4.Wet shot 100hp(maybe this one like to do last)
5.Port,polish&flow etc heads,fast 90 manifold & maf.??hp
Already got lid,k&N,SSRA,March Pulley,Loud mouth,3.73s and SLP Predator Tuner coming. These items will be here one week(cant wait )will do T/B bypass at same time for hell of it(seems to be some mixed opinions on that one ).

Might as well do the T/B bypass, every little bit helps. And whats the worst that would happen you spend like $3 and a few min. working on your car

I would go with headers. I have similar mods to you and my headers just go here. They will free up a bunch of power and help make your future mods even more effective.

I really like em. I did them relatively soon after I got the car so I didn’t have much of a basis as far as corner carving goes to base them on. The ol’ butt-o-meter did fell a big difference in ride rigidly. I can defiantly feel a difference in bumps in the road and the car just feels stiffer. The tubular ones also tuck up very nicely. Also as far as squeaks go I only have 42k miles on the car and put them on at 38k when I got it so it really hasn’t had time to develop many creaks and squeaks.
Sorry I could really answer any of your specific questions. I would suggest and I believe it was Chevy High Performance Magazine that suggest them as one of the first mods to do.

Stall, shift kit, trans cooler, drag radials, 3.73 gears.

Headers + ORY + electric cutout.

Then put a 230+ cam in it with an LS6 manifold (or FAST) with a mail order tune, unless you can find a tuner in Japan.

TheBlurLs1,3.73s are in the post,b&mtrans cooler consider it done will order monday, but shift kit who am I going to get to fit it here? And stall just tell me what one i am going with Nitrous at later stage so do I need special one and what size mostly street, track maybe ten times a year. And your right no tuner here so I was thinking about using lap top when I get sick of hand held but I am real green at this tuning biz and dont want problems with my car.But if I want good tune guess I need to use HP tuners or EFI?Or mail order wich is best I dont know.

Your expected bhp gains seem rather optomistic to me.

What do you want to do with the car and which way in terms of mods are you heading as they can all dramtically affect which parts you should buy?

Is it for 1/4 mile drag racing?
Circuit
Street
Or a combination of the above?

Do you plan on FI in the future or just sticking n/a?

For better ET's at the strip sticky tyres (MT DR's) stronger rear end (12 bolt/9") lower gearing (3.73/4.10), torque converter and chassis/suspension (LCA, SFC, PHR, body mounted torque arm, anti-roll bars, shocks, springs, bushes) work will make a massive difference much more so than bolt on bhp additons.

But they won't really help trap speeds or roll racing ability. For this you need more power so that's where exhuast and induction mods come in.

A lid, ported TB, LS6 intake, LT headers, 3" Y and a good catback all combined with a good cam and a tune should be able to see 400rwhp +-.

Heads and different intake manifold will show more gains, 440-450rwhp is generally the limit n/a with a 346ci enigne although there are some like PatrickG who dyno over 470rwhp n/a but it cetainly won't have been cheap getting there. Which is where nitrous and/or FI can be worth while if larger HP numbers are wanted.
