Any issues with the Hooker Y-pipe?

To all who are using or have used the Hooker y-pipe for Hooker long tube headers, how do you like it? Is it constructed well?

Also, is there room to put in cats if I wanted to?

bought mine from gp from jet hot.theres realy not much to dislike.they look really good coated,they are easier then most others to install.just check packaging make sur you got all the o2 extensions.dont use the supplied bolts use the stock exhaust manifold bolts.hope this helps.

I cut the middle part of my HOOKER Y off and welded in a Flowmaster MERGE.I didnt like the way the one pipe was welded into the other...Its perfect now and fits the car like a glove.

I think the construction is very good. Kinda a pain in the *** to install, and the ground clearance isn't the best. However, I don't regret buying it, its working out great for me.

MY headers and Ypipe scrape like a son of a bitch, thats my only complaint.

Is the Hooker Y-pipe 3" or 2 1/2". I fabbed mine and have been very unhappy with it. No matter how much I try to keep it off my floor pans it vibrates like a sombitch. I might end up going with the Hooker ORY as well.
