Default LS6 Intake, ANYONE EVER HAVE THIS>?

I replaced my intake with a LS6. It didnt seem to fit right. Almost as if it was warped? I checked and checked to verify that no wires were caught under. I tightend it down and it popped twice? It runs well. I thought I cracked it but no leaks as of yet..

I got the same sound when I put my fast 90 on. I freaked out when I heard the same sound. And I thought I cracked it. I was just the intake popping in place.

As long as you didn't leave the coolant pipes in place under it, it should be fine. Otherwise...

You can get a dead blow and pound on the coolant lines too. Just a lil' bit.

Did you follow the right torque sequence?. Mine made a little pop when I was taking it off but not putting it on. Hopefully it was just settling

If you didnt take the plastic clips off the knocksensor harness they will break, shouldnt hurt anything though[the clips were connected to the water line orignally]

I had this same problem when I installed my LS6. The clips were not allowing it to sit flush, it even rocked side to side a bit.

You can untape them from the knock sensor wires and remove them.
