I've been running poly motor mounts in mine for a while (energy suspension 1116 will fit but its tight) and its a noticelable difference. The motor sits pretty still at idle even with a big cam

Do you change both of them? When I had my GN, we would just change the driver side to keep the motor from torquing and leave the passenger side stock to absorb some of the shake. Just wondering. Thanks for the info.

Can you give us an overview on how you did the mount replacement? Did you use the engine brace that bolts onto the strut towers to keep the engine from falling down? Did you use a hoist from the top?
I am in bad need of new motor mounts. When my engine gets to loping it just about shakesme out of the car. I had to have my rear exhaust hanged rewelded 2 times from the engines shaking the hell out of my exhaust.
Thanks,
Lee

Then I went to the energy suspension guy and he said they also make LS1 mounts. I told him that I have never seen them and asked him to show me a part number. He pointed to the LT1 mount part # and I told him the LS1 is 1998-2003. He finally realized that they don't make them . I told him Prothane is making them and he said "No they aren't", so I told him he doesn't even know his own products, why would I take his word over the Prothane rep, who showed me the LS1 mount that was on display.
