same here!!!....I liked the clear design of the mti lid....but they all do the same job...although some fit better than others so just be sure it fits alright........

I used to have a LS1 Motorsports Air Lid and it fit perfect. I recently purchased an MTI Clear Lid and it was harder to get the perfect fit. After a little bit of elbow grease, I finally got it to sit right and it looks killer.

like, the slp, i have
it does not fit flush in the back, i am going to put some weather stripping to fix that, but it does has a good quality of plastic, i know becuase i painted it and it stuck real well, when you get your lid, take the lower airbox off, like the instructions say, "as one piece" and turn it around after its completed and you will see a little crack, i just went and bought some weather stripping at home depot for 5 bucks, 3/8"x7/16"
i am sure all lids fit the same way, i saw a friends Whishper lid and it did the same thing in the back,,, this creates leakage and not perfectly sealed; lost of power
