Thx RED. Ive been looking at the TR and QTP headers alot and im thinking them or the FLP's-b/c of the cat feature.I was wondering what kinda of y-pipe is there so that i could install RandomCats w/ the QTP's. Does anyone know a type that would work
-Thanks everyone for really helpin me with this. Im glad that alot of people know more about this than I do!

Im getting the Grotts from QTP They rock. I hope they do anyway. Plus dual electric cutouts. Thats badass.

If it were me I would use the new Kooks header by Kooks Custom Headers. I personally think that the reason that Grot's have been so sucessful is because of the collector design. Most headers do not have enough transition aera in the collector. The Kooks I think will be superior, because of collector design and the fact that the header has longer tube length. The Grots have an average length of around 25.5 inches and the Kooks have an average tube length around 31 inches. The reason I pick these two headers is because they have (imo) the best collector design. Also the reason that I use average length is becasue there is no equal length header avaliable for the LS1 F-Body. In fact from what I have seen there best out there is about seven inches difference between longest and shortest tubes. If anyone claims differently then study the pics of their headers to see the truth.

I ended up settling with the TTS's, though they are a good chunk of change. Supposedly cats have been redesigned to be less restrictive, but who knows. Have heard very good things from almost everyone who has them - lone exception being I believe 99TAWS6 who had some install headaches with the bolt holes not lining up and had to do some drilling. The headers look great, I'll probably install them in a month or so as the car sits during the winter.

well im definitly getting the QTP headers(grotts),with the QTP custom y-pipe with duel cutouts, they definitly sound mean as hell and they are a good deal for the best quality headers around, these headers r gonna blow the competion out of the water, and if u want to make it sound louder, go with the stage 1 or 2 JPR heads .....those r next on my list....
