Air Pump SES Light

I removed the AIR system on my 02 Z-28. Why is it when i clear the SES light with my programmer the light goes out but when i start the car back up the light comes back. I've pulled the fuse and the relay for the AIR Pump, should i put them back? Someone help

programmer? ahh, thats your problem, they are worthless, look in to hp tune, or a mailorder tune to actually nonerror report the codes, your programmer just clears them, ie if you had say a bad o2, and replaced it resets the code, it then stays off because the o2 is now there.

So the only way is to get another tuner to clear it. Give me a website so i can see what im looking at as far as another tuner. I thought my diablo would do it.

you need to take it to a speed shop and have them delete unnecessary codes dealing with the air system, should cost about $75-100, programmer won't delete codes.

In some cases the handhelds will delete the codes, according to the predator website, theirs does, but for nearly the same price you can get a full tuning suite, such as HPTuners, all you need is a laptop to run it
