Kooks LT question Well since trying to get your hands on a set of QTP LTs is like trying to break into Fort Knox 
, I might pick up a set of kooks. Yes I know that the overall design between both are the same, but does Kooks have the HVMC also? Because by looking at the picture on TT Performance http://www.ttperformance.net/exhaust.shtml I see no design difference at all between the two. I'd rather pay $50 more for the kooks than have to wait another 4 weeks at least for the QTPs.

You know, I think I just might order the kooks afterall. These were the LTs that I planned on getting originally, but ever since the QTPs dropped their price and came polished with the hvmc I leaned to get those. BUT, lately no one has them in stock (I tried almost every sponsor including QTP and nothing), and all of a sudden there are fitment issues popping up with the new batch that went out. I'm getting TSP TDs so if the kooks dont have the hvmc, I'm sure that the TDs will make up for it. I'm going to assume that fitment with the kooks is good?

I just need to decide on which mufflers to go with for the TSP TDs and I'm set. 
Kooks fit like a M f'n champ. Also, I think the poly mounts are a must while you have it all apart, although they do create collector to body clearance issues sometimes. I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I've owned two '02 WS6's, and put Kooks on both of 'em. They are very well-made, yield good power gains, and fitment is outstanding...I lost 0 ground clearance.
One thing is for sure, no matter what brand I buy in the future, I am SOLD on stainless steel construction. Yeah, they heat-discolor, but they do not rust, and you don't have to worry about coatings.
I was thinking about polishing the 2nd set I put on, but the discoloration from heat would probably mess up a nice polish-job.

The QTP y-pipe does flow pretty well because of the merge collector that I know. But it means nothing to me because like I said before, I'm getting TSP TDs. And unless QTP can get their LTs out sooner than 4 weeks and have resolved any fitment issues they are having, I'm gonna go with Kooks.

I will be receiving my Kook's LT'S and ORY on Monday...then the install begins. I had originally ordered QTP's but after waiting awhile and not hearing anything, I decided to cancel my order. I've also been hearing bad things about the last batch that came out.... hopefully the Kook's bolt in with no issues. Performance wise...I have no doubt they will far exceed my old Hooker's!!
