You can ALWAYS sell an LS6 intake. If you buy it used, you can sell it for what you bought it for.

The FAST 90mm isn't for everyone.

the FAST 90 on a bolt on car will actually probably lose some low end power, and any power you gain on the other end over the LS6 will be negligible, especially when factoring in cost...

I wouldn't get the 80mm BBK. I'd just get a used ported stock one for around a hundred bucks or so on here. The LS6 intake is definately worth it though!

You have to have 50 legit (non-whoring) posts or 6-months of membership to post items for sale.

One more thing about the ls6 intake, bssides better air to flow ove rthe LS!, how can you tell the difference between the both? How do you tell if the intake is in great condition? Would an LS6 intake off a 01-02 Fbody be ok to install on a 00 A4 t/a even if the intake had over 20k miles on it? Basically what I'm asking is when is it not okay to buy a used ls6 intake? 30k? 40k? Hope to gets some responses, im confused?

Get a tune after you swap intakes. I jumped from 12.9 to 15.1 when I switched to a ls6 I had a 230/232 cam at the time.....

I think you can tell the difference on the bottom of the intakes. IIRC the bottom of the LS6 intake is flat whereas the bottom of the LS1 intake curves up into the runners.

Intake's don't wear out, so there's no problems. This is why I say you can always get your money back out of them. The only thing that might be a problem is if it's dirty, but you can just clean the damn thing.
