Default Whats the best catback to run with FLP's and high flow cats?

I want the loudest, highest flowing, most gain, gurggle, rumble, throaty, deep, and good looking tips. I dont want it to sound raspy or have an undefined sound to it.

A lot of people here like the Hooker catback. Good sound, well built, and inexpensive. Do a search, you should be able to find some sound clips.

My vote would go for the Loudmouth. I have have Kooks LT headers, w/ random tech high flow cats and the loudmouth. The car sounds SICK, not raspy and Very loud at WOT.

I know that 99.9% of you guys and girls out there have an exhuast system on your cars. So give me suggestions, ideas, opinions, or considerations on what catback to chose. I want the highest flowing catback, with a good sound, deep, rumble, throaty, gurggle, not raspy or undefined. Thanks.

For good sound, great flow, throaty low rumble with zero rasp, droan, undefined sound the Magnaflow is tough to beat for all of that in one package. I was on the dyno the other night with another car there with a LM. Everybody agreed he won the "most obnoxious" sounding car they all had ever heard. He was a little louder but, my car sounds like my '68 and '73 SS's.

Where would the x-pipe go if the FLP y-pipe is set off to the passenger side? Would I need a new y-pipe? Do they make any that fit the v-flange design on the high flow cats from SLP? Are the bullets straight through like the Loudmouth resonators? Who makes the x-pipe and is it stainless steel? Is a true dual set up illegal? Will it pass emissions and inspection? Thanks

As I posted before...I had asked where does the x-pipe go and do I use the FLP y-pipe that came with the headers or do I have to buy a new one so that it goes with the x-pipe? Or does the x-pipe take the place of the y-pipe and goes after the cats? Do you have any pics? Oh and if I was to buy a x-pipe, wouldnt I need to buy 2 flowmasters? How do I fit 2 of those under there? Where would the cut-out go? Also...I want to keep my cats! Thanks

I have Borla with the 2 1/2 plate and I love the sound. It's loud as hell but not raspy sounding; if you run the off road pipes with the wide open Borla plate, it will be raspy. Thunder Racing is having a sale on Borla right now (but they don't have adjustable plates in them) for a great price.

Just got the headers today, the weather sucks so I'll have to wait to run it hard.

Here's to Thunder on a great job! <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

Ive already had the Borla, so all who answers with the Borla, I want to try something else. Thanks. I hear that the Loudmouth is the best flowing. I have that right now and by looking at it, it obvious. Its very unrestrictive. I dont like it that loud, so I think that Im going to put something similar in place of the resonator. I was told to put in a Dynomouth bullet, any other suggestions.

Who carries the GMMG and is it on sale by any of the sponsors? How much is it? Isnt all the GMMG just piping of a catback with no muffler and where the muffler goes is crimpped pipe?
