stealth airbox i have one on my 2002 z28 and was wondering if anyone has used a different material to connect the maf to the throttle body?the original hose seems to sink in.i probally wasted my money on it but am determined to make it work the way i want it to now.so any info would be greatly appreciated thanks!

Re: stealth airbox I have the stealth airbox, and I love it. Other than the rubber boot your talking about, what a poorly designed piece. Mine sinks in just like yours, I am going try and cut up a fernco, and make it work though. Or modify the stock boot.
Re: stealth airbox Let me suggest a few rings of either
stiff wire, or sheet metal, glued in
place internally with weatherstripping
cement. This works on radiator hose,
if you use a thin enough sheet metal
you should have a negligible airflow
disruption. If you use mild steel or
brass, you can solder a lap joint and
this will make a ring that resists
compression pretty robustly.
