Default Holley 80mm

Can a Holley 80mm intake be used for a 98 LS-1?
If so, what mods are needed to work?

I see NO WAY at all to install this on your F-body:

Halltech's all new T-1C PowerStack Cold-Air Intake System has arrived for the 2003 C5! This underhood intake system requires absolutely no alterations to your C5. No cutting or trimming anything! This intake pulls cold air from the Z06 air-ducts. The new Halltech PowerStack filter is worth 5 additional HP on the dyno over the Z1R and filters better than the stock paper filter by 60%. Made of Dupont Synthetic Remay filter media, this filter is good for the life of your C5. Fits 2001-2003 C5s

Someone on another site had mis labled this intake as a Halltech. Anyway, I meant the Holley 80 mm. Holley 80mm Manifold
Holley 80mm Manifold, ready for your 80mm BBK Throttle Body. This manifold has been ported to 80mm, to perfectly port match the BBK. It has a fully polished exterior for show.

For even a moderately modified LS1, the GM LS6 intake has proven to be a better choice.

I have read that it is the system as a whole that must be matched. You are only as good as your largest opening. Stock TB are 75mm? SLP and Granatelli make a MAF @ 85mm. BBK makes a 80mm TB. Holley intake has 80mm opening, LS-6 intake opening is XXX mm? Will a BBK 80mm TB fit a LS-6 intake? Most people are using ported stock TB with LS-6 intakes, just asking what is best combo as a system.

From what I've seen, anything under 400ci has seen better results with a ported TB and LS6 intake.
