Porting Maf Ends and Throttle Body

Porting Maf Ends and Throttle Body I know this has been a topic of discussion for some time now, but I just want to get things straight. I have a '98 Z28 with a 4L60E transmission (stock tranny). What do the terms A4 car and M6er mean. I have already have hand ported the stock maf ends and I'm sending my throttle body out this week to Bauer. Does my car apply to the low hose pressure going to the transmission that has caused premature transmission failure since the maf is reading less air. I have the HPP3 but I am told it doesn't do enough to correct this problem. Please help me understand whether I need a Maf Translator, which port I'm supposed to go to,or an Autotap (their function) to solve this.

M6 = Manual 6 Speed
Not sure on the line pressure cuz I have an M6. I think it is because the maf tells the PCM the engine is under less load than it really is with ported MAF. Therefore, the PCM lowers the line pressure in the tranny and could cause problems down the road. Hope this helps. I'm not an expert on this topic, though. I could be wrong.
