Another true dual question
Hey guys I planned on getting a 3" true dual setup sometime between now and the summer but I had a few quick questions.
I do plan on getting hooker or jet-hot longtubes for the car as money provides so I was wondering what would be easier to do first if I'm doing the install as a newb (they'd be my first header install). The long tubes into the stock exhaust system then have the exhaust guys fit the dual system to the new headers, or have the duals done first and then try to fit the longtubes myself? What is involved in doing longtubes with a true dual setup exactly?
Also, if I'm trying to quiet down the system just a bit (I bet duals and longtubes would be DAMN loud <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> ) so I don't take as much hassle would the 18" bullets over the 12s make much of a noise difference without restricting too much flow?

Re: Another true dual question
And also I'm assuming if I do the headers after the exhaust I can purchase just the headers without a y-pipe or cats (since I don't think I'll be running those) because the piping is sent directly to each header from the x-junction?
