Re: 400 Rwhp possible? I'd probably say 400 on stock heads is kinda pushin it. not n/a anyway. I'd say the best youre going to see, is probably around 360-380 or so rwhp. I could be wrong, but thats just my assumption

Re: 400 Rwhp possible? I beleive the original post was for 400 rwhp with all stock internals (that means no cam!)and all bolt-ons. I think Ling_650Vette hit it on the money. Im pushing 370 rwhp with all the bolt-ons except for the Fast Toys ram air kit which I will be getting soon! I dont think it will bump me up to 400 rwhp, but I could see maybe 375 or 380 rwhp. I have never touch an internal, but Im thinking of doing a cam, and for sure Ill be at 400 rwhp! Hope that helps! By the way, I think that a M6 will have more of a chance than an A4 due to drivetrain loss.

Re: 400 Rwhp possible? Well with stock internals...NO! With all bolt-ons and a cam...YEAH! However..Im sure that not just any 'ole cam will work. Im sure you have to get a decent cam for it. Not only that, every car is different. Luckily, my car pulled some good numbers being internally stock. Im probably gonna go with a 224/224 with either a .561 or .581 lift on a 112 LSA. That should bump me up to 400 rwhp! By the way...I gotta get some more adjustments done to my PCM because I think there is something wrong with my air/fuel ratio causing some retard. There seems to be some power loss in 3rd and 4th around 5k rpm. Hopefully when I get it fixed that I will pull a 'lil better.

Re: 400 Rwhp possible? OK I guess I didn't specify when I said stock internals, which I meant stock heads and stock bottom end, my bad. I would be happy with 380 rwhp for now untill I can do a full head and cam swap.

Re: 400 Rwhp possible? The point I was making too is that autos aren't dyno queens. THeir hp rating is lower on a dyno cause the trannys use that hp differently. But autos can get REAL aggressive with stall, and gears <img border="0" alt="[angel]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_angel.gif" />
so 400 on an auto with stock internals i'd just say "no-can't do it". But you can cut 1.7 60' times all day long!
at 325 rwhp i can beat the 400hp m6 to 1/8 mile cause of the hole shot but he'll take me on the big end when he gets into his hi rpm's in gears 2-3

I dyno right at mid 310s right now and cut low 1.7 60's. Question is, what do you want out of your car? Just dyno numbers? Do you want killer times?
