Default Need a 12v switched source

I need a 12volt power wire to turn on when the car is runing. Wire needs to be in the engine compartment.
People keep telling me try the fuse box but i cant find one, i dont want to slice into the wire to figure out.

Use the wires off your running lights.

Run your own wire to the radio fuse. Strip the wire back some, then reinsert the fuse with the wire end in there.

For my cutout, I ran a 14guage wire from my center console, behind/above the kick panel under the steering wheel, and into the fuse panel at driver side of the dash. None of it is visible at all. The radio fuse is behind the velcro flap there. There is a hole where you can bring the wire into the fuse area without it showing. No sense in cutting factory wires that are already short and tied up.

If you still havent got it. Every pink wire is switched. Meaning key on power, key off no power.

Ken, that's what I figured, the pink wires. But I couldn't get my cutout to work with the lack of power in my ASR traction switch pink wire. Hmmmm. Silly car.

Maybe it has to do with amperage.
