Is the stock PVC valve supposed to rattle when you shake it?

Is the stock PVC valve supposed to rattle when you shake it? I just changed mine out and the old one would rattle when shook, the new one #12572717 does not

Re: Is the stock PVC valve supposed to rattle when you shake it? I can't say why your new PCV wouldn't rattle when shaken but any PCV I've changed would rattle some when shakened.

Re: Is the stock PVC valve supposed to rattle when you shake it? They rattle. It's the valve rattling in the casing that makes the noise. If it doesn't rattle, then it's not really a PCV valve, probably just a necked-down fitting like the trucks have.
