The fact that you are not getting any codes makes me think its something simple like fuel, power or spark.
Yeah, I'd think the same thing.

I can't say that I know an incredible deal about anything under the hood. I know my way around, but my buddy is the real expert. He went over everything twice and said it was all hooked up fine, so I don't know what it could be.

I think tonight we're going to borrow a trailer and take it up to his work to run a $5,000 scanner on it and see what's wrong.

Maybe your VATS just took a dump at the same time? That would be my luck. There is a good write up on here about bypassing that. Worth a check if you or your buddy have an OHM meter. Do you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key?

Check out this thread for the hell of it...

That's what I thought too. I disconnected the sensor in the rear of the car that detects motion and such because I thought VATS might be pissed at me. Used a spare key and tried starting her then and she didn't work.

I removed the starter, checked the connection on the crank sensor again... and it's fine.

Checked the two in the engine bay and the one on the driver's side. All seem to be fine, except I'm not sure what a blown larger fuse would look like (the gray cubed ones).

did you gap the spark plugs correctly and make sure all the plug wires snapped back into place on the plugs?

Swap the fuel pump one with the AC one right next to it. Theyre the same size, mine had weird intermitiant problem that gave the same syptoms that your having, just switch the two and give it a try.

Got home from the gym and I'm going to try some other stuff. If not, it's getting trailered to my buddy's work to find out what's wrong.

Don't forget to see if you hear the fuel pump prime when you turn the key to "on".

I know there is no reason why it should happen when replacing headers other than Murphy's law but my money is still on the VATS. Your key(s) may be fine but your lock cylinder may be what has gone bad. Happens all the time out of nowhere. Only way to know for sure is with an OHM meter.

Have you ever had an issue with the security light coming on in the recent past while driving?

Keep us posted.

As far as I've seen, the security light has never come on. It sounds as if I can hear the fuel pump priming when I turn the key to the on position. The VATS system could very well be screwing me over; I tried disabling the system in the rear and then turning the car on, but that was a no-go as well.
