Default BG ram air w/ lower air box mods?

The lower air box on my car has been cut up for the FRA mod I guess.
If I have a BG ram air kit, wouldn't I want to seal that off so that I'm only getting air in through the hood, and not from infront of the radiator?

Yes. If you want the BG Ram Air to work like it was designed you sould have a sealed lower air box to get only air through the hood. The air will be cooler and denser from the outside rather than in front of the radiator. Plus, at high speeds (80+) air will be theoretically "ramed" into your engine (statement can be debated).

That's what I thought, just wanted to be sure.
I think I'll do some testing with some IAT's and see what I come up with.

Air must only come in from the front. Furthermore, make sure you install it 100% as described, even go as far as using silicone in areas that may have you losing pressure. My friend noticed a difference in throttle response on the highway after doing this.
