Re: SLP rep says, "Free ram air mod is very bad for the LS1." I~d say the guy is right... as the air passes across and around the radiator it gets warmed up.. not only when you`re sitting at a light. Take a temp reading of the radiator sometimes.. IT~S HOT!
FTRA is definately better. I~ve bought a few things at SLP but I~m sure their stuff is too mild for all you hardcore guys. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> They do sell stuff that has proven to be reliable. Not everyone wants the biggest cam.
Oh and they did a nice job on my car too.. <img border="0" alt="[chug]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_chug.gif" />

Re: SLP rep says, "Free ram air mod is very bad for the LS1." Seems that this "Art" is a busy guy. Back in Dec. he tried very hard to not sell me weld in SFC's. "I shouldn't be cheap and just upgrade and buy the bolt ons"
