Default exhaust to quiet... help

ok i have a slp loud mouth exhaust and when i first got the car it was loud but now its quieter than when i first bought it. it used to crackel when i let off and now it just comes down without the crackel. i used to be able to hear it over my radio now i have to shut off my radio and put my windows down to hear it, could something had happen like the cat is bad or something else?

It sounds like your exhaust has been "broken in" for lack of a better term. Your resonators have build-up now and is now not flowing as well as brand new. Just my .02¢

It could be a cat. I wouldn't worry about build up in the resonator. It would have to be a ton of buildup to make it quiet.

i think your mind is playing tricks on you.... i heard exhaust gets louder the more it gets broken in, or your cats could be close to plugged and is about to gut itself (i've seen this happen)

I bet you can trade your quiet loud mouth to someone for a louder setup! This might be the solution!
