Cutting those damn "nails" that come out of the plastic part on the cowl are a must though!

I remember that bolt. I have it on my dresser. It is there as a reminder that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE with time and patience.
I love it when my friends come over and see what I have to deal with when I do the plug changes. Their jaws drop when they see the passenger side.

You guys are scaring me! I'm still waiting on my wires but the more I read the more nervous I am getting. I was telling my younger brother I was going to do plugs and wires myself and he just shook his head and goes "Damn, it will never run again"

Its just tedious painful work thats all. It can be done, just dont move to quickly and your hands should be still be in 85% working conditon when your done. Bloodied and slighty cut up and scraped but still useable.

I had the mistake of putting the bolt back waaaay in the back that holds the bracket.

Hopefully my wires will arrive today or tomorrow and it looks like Friday I'm going to have at it.

You can do it. Just dont let it beat you down mentally and you'll be ok. Take breaks when you need to.. like when your ready to say thats it I'm calling a tow truck and having it done somehere.. this is a good time for a break or what ever soothes your nerves. Then go back at it. I took my time doing my stuff. Took me days to finish..

**** i got big fat hands and i got it to work. AND, 98 owners have to put that back bolt back on! BUT, patience is the key!
I still think the rear bolt on the stock exhaust manifold was the worst bolt to get on and off. thats just my opinion though... That bolt took me 2 hours. damn small turns... and every 10 seconds i'd drop the damn wrench... (sigh) thank god i had a friend underneath to catch it and hand it back up!

It was a while ago, but I think I got it by jacking the car up and going from the bottom. The only way I was able to get that stupid thing was with a socket placed on first and then going in with the wrench.
