Im lookin for a cat back true dual exhaust
Who makes a bolt on, cat back, true dual, over the axle and out to the bumper exhaust system. I have heard bassani makes one, does anyone else? Is the bassani a good system and how much does it cost? I would like to buy a cat back ASAP so any info would speed up the process! Thanks

I thought I wanted duals but if there isn't significant HP and better sound then it is hard to justify the extra money. The money difference could be invested in a torque convertor or something else that would show more bang for the buck. Has anyone changed to true duals from a catback and dynoed their car to see HP changes?

Worth the price difference versus doing it custom yourself. Trust me it will cost you more. 1 K isn't bad considering the Mufflex, GMMG , Corsa and Boa are all in hte 700 range just for a catback. At least withe Vinci you get a complete system.

Bassani is the only one.
Unless you have big plans for making power with the car or just plain want true duals and nothing else, a regular catback will be just fine for you. The other Magnaflow system you were looking at would be a great choice and flow right at the same amount as the Bassani.

Get a system custom built by an exhaust shop with some 2.5" pipe, dr. gas x-pipe, and whatever mufflers/tips you want. They should be able to run it under the axle pretty easy. I have pics/info of mine in the sig.

I bought the bassani true duals from vinci. Its alittle expensive, but i couldnt be happier. Its a very high quality kit as well, everything bolts up nicely. The only minor issue i had was getting it to fit my longtubes. Should bolt up to your stock cats easily though. The ground clearance is great and it sounds bad ***.
If you can talk your self into spending around 800 bucks, i definately recommend the bassani/vinci tru-dual exhasut.

Looking for a similar setup, but, having the MAC 3/4 length headers, I'm out in the cold. Nobody makes anything that will bolt up to them. I've tried the fabrication route and chnaged my exhaust out several times ... always making the wrong choice. I'm finally saving for LT's so that I'll have options available ... probably will go with the Bassani dual setup or the stainless Magnaflow w/ Y-pipe. Had planned on Lane's, but, it's difficult to get a timely reply from him, so, I'll go with something else.

mrr23 ... been looking at Kooks Long tubes. With the collectors being a little shorter than the QTP's and othet long tube headers, do you think the Bassani tru duals would be a good fitment?
4th go-around at re-doing my exhaust and I want to do it right this time. Any comments would be appreciated.
