Default Broken Super Sucker Ram Air??

Who has one?

Who has one that is not broken??

If so, how many miles do you have on it?

I am considering this mod and am concerned that I will bust it right away.

I scrape the air diverter that it runs through often enough that I don't want to buy one if it will break right away.

Thanks!!

I put 10,000 or more miles on my car with mine but i took it off, And i must say i can't tell any difference with it or without it.
And it doesnt go through your air diverter, It runs down along the back of your front and pokes out under the nose of your car.
it never hit or scrapped on my car but i'm not lowered but i do have a bodykit so i would amagine if was to scrape something it would hit my front before it would of actually rubbed the ssra.
I would just do the FRA or the CAI kit instead of the full ssra because i don't think it made any difference on my car, maybe in a few weeks when i dyno my car i should do the 2nd pull with it and the 3rd pull without it

Me 3. You can buy the lower piece alone, but it costs like $70-$80 bux.

Thanks guys. I have done the free ram air already. I was thinking this would give me colder air at idle, as opposed to now where it is likely drawing hot air near the radiator.

I am lowered 1", so this may not be the mod for me.

I am wary of the SLP cold air as my research shows people complain about higher operating temps.

Anyone else care to chime in??

I have seen no difference in operating temps with the SLP piece.

As well did I Had two of these on my old V6 before I just decided it wasn't worth the trouble or $ any more.
