got rid of flowmaster and got magnaflow...
got rid of flowmaster and got magnaflow... well i got rid of my flowmaster muffler and put in a magnaflow muffler.i thought i had 3inch pipe but its only 2 3/4 so a new exhaust will be soon. but anyways im unhappy with the magnaflow. it is way to quiet at idle. i have lts and a cam and you cant even hear the cam. 
oh well liek i said a new exhaust will be sometime in the near future. so if you are thinking of getting magnaflow you better want something quiet at idle. but other than that it does sound good and im sure it will flow good.

Yeah, my Ultraflows got louder after a little while too. Mine are still fairly quiet at idle but at WOT it's loud as HELL. That's the way I like it though, tame at idle and then wake the dead at WOT. How do your Magnaflows sound at WOT?
My good friend runs Jet Hot lts, ORY, and a Magniflow. (no cut out, stock cam) His car doesn't have the loud rasp to it but I definately wouldn't call it quiet. I run open Borla, Macs, and an ORY so I know what loud is. He used to have a GTP head/cam combo (226,59X) and I heard the cam fine. Give it a little time. I think it'll "louden up".

I wish I had the money to switch, I like the sound but the fit is really cheesy. I'm actually pretty pissed I cheaped out on this flowmaster setup and should have gotten a magnaflow exhaust. Since I first put the tips on and bolted up the system I wasn't happy with the fit and finish, I wish Johnny law didn't ticket me for my cam/ory/loudmouth setup that was awesome.

I had the Magnaflow muffler, and when I 1st put it on it wasn't even as loud as my stock muffler. After driving it for awhile it did get alot louder. The Magnaflow flows great and sounds decent IMO. Even though it got louder with time at WOT, it never had a loud idle. It always had a quiet idle. This is part of the reason I swapped it for the GMMG. The GMMG has a very nice and pretty loud idle.

I have magnablows with heads, cam, longtubes, highflow cats yadda, yadda. its very quite. i had the corsa'a and they sounded like a race car. so i think its cutout time
