Default Shorty gains over stock??

Well i did a search and could only find comparisons on shortys vs long tubes.. with my set up being lowered 2.5" and also have emission tests i need to put my cats in every 2 years.. so i seen edelbroke and BBk have shortys that bolt up to stock cats? wut other shortys are out there? and most important are there any gains over stock manifolds? or would i be wasting my money? thanx

as far as I know, the 2000+ stock manifolds dont flow too bad, and any gains adding shorties are negligable.

I dont think many people have tried it to be honest, so finding results on it may prove difficult.

don't waste your time, . . or your money, . . i've seen shorty headers go for about (or more) than a price of Pacesetters!, . . . . the ONLY reason i could think of for a person do get shorties is so he could keep it legal (relocating cats is a no no), . . . if you do gain HP its very minimal and not worth 700 800 bux for 3 or 4 horses, . . . .
