Even if its for track use only, how are you gonna get there with it on? Or onto a trailer with an extra leg on your front bumper

How well does it work with an armadillo and
two 'possums wedged up in there?

If bottom was trimmed up 2 inches it could stay on car full time. How much effectiveness would be lost if it was trimmed slightly at bottom?

I don't know what would deter me from running one of those at the track more: people making fun of me for spending that much for a piece of plastic or for putting it on the car

You would leave it in the trunk on the way to the track and then when you got there, put it on.

It's trimmed 3 inches.

Cool, now what kind of gains is the street version worth over a free ram air set up?

Maybe I should charge only $50. This way I could in effect, pay anyone who wants one $35 to put it on there car. PlowTown Missile, when you bring a product to market there are a lot of hidden costs. R&D, gas, time, materials, labor, packaging, marketing, taxes, and so on.

Due to the comments here which are mainly negative I'll go back to the drawing board. If someone wants one contact Speed Inc or LM Performance. I only had the manufacturer make 5. Even though these comments are negative, I learn alot from everybodies feedback. Yeah it's ugly, huge, and hangs really low. I'll compare it to the regular Supersucker and no CAI when the track opens up. Thanks for your opinions.

Geez, it's lower than the front air damn
That might trip the timing lights before the front tire on a lowered car
I'll stick with my custom twin stainless steel ram air ducts

Hey if for all you northerners out there. Just think of the possibilities. Put a cover over the hole in it and use it as a snow plow nothing like 350HP of snow plowing fury

No testing has been done of this over FRA or the regular version of the Supersucker. The Supersucker on a totally stock engine(no lid, no nothing) gained 13rwhp. I have no dyno tests of the regular version of the Supersucker over FRA. To simulate driving conditions we used a big blower fan to mimic a car going about 60mph.

Instead of making it so low; why not make it 2 feet wider? That would not affect driverability and would gulp in as much if not more air, right?
Just an idea.

The scoop will be made out of stainless steel and will hang about 2 or 3 inches below the bumper. It will be as wide as the rubber air deflector and come out flush with the front bumper (curved with bumper). I'll have to be extremely cafeful driving around but it will really make my FTRA shine. Price is $50. I can't wait!

There's the regular version that works on the street. It is the same width as the track version but 3 inches higher off the ground. This works fine for everyday driving. Last week we came out with the track version of the lower box. It is the same width but much lower than the regular version. This is ONLY for track use. I suppose we could make it wider with the same height above the ground but this would make it much more expensive. The reason it would be more expensive is that you would now have to make angles and bends to it. This would greatly increase the cost.
