Are QTP headers coated with Jet-Hot?
The original Q stands.. are they Jet Hott coated or coated by someone else?
He means they will be stainless steel and coated, instead of the regular steel? they use now. Stainless will never rust or corrode.

The SLP headers are stainless and coated. The coating is the only thing that keeps the temps down. All stainless is for is for them not to rust. I had a stainless catback and it was UGLY! Its not a pretty steel at all! Plus the welds, youll see those.

Anyone have pics, or can describe what a 304 stainless steel header will look like after some heat cycles?

Stainless steel starts out bright and shiny, but takes on a nice copper/gold patina after a few heat cycles. Some will disagree, but I think it looks rather nice.
Yes there would be a need for coating...

As for the finish, they can shine nice and they will likely end up the gold/copper tone as stated above. Perhaps it the chromed (i.e. some motorcycle) stainless ones that blue. Theres a reson you need to wait a short time for these...those of us that have done research beleive these will be some great headers. As I have a set being installed now, I'll let ya know how it goes.
